The Knights of Columbus, the world's largest lay Catholic
Organization, celebrated its 125th anniversary on March 29,
2007.  Through all the years it has remained true to its founding
principles of CHARITY, UNITY & FRATERNITY.  On February
22, 1900 PATRIOTISM was added as a fourth principle.  These
principles constitute the FIRST, SECOND, THIRD, & FOURTH
DEGREE EXEMPLIFICATIONS of the Knights of Columbus with
the FOURTH DEGREE being the highest attainable degree in
the Order.  All practical Catholic men 18 or older are welcome
to join the Knights of Columbus and enhance their Catholic and
family values.

St. Mark's Star of the Sea Council #11374, George W. Schenk
Grand Knight, was chartered on June 17, 1994 and follows all
the principles of the Order.

Meetings are the third Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm at St.
Mark's Church Library.  Breakfast meetings are the 2nd and 4th
Tuesday of the month at 8:30 am at Long Pond Family
Restaurant.

Installation of Officers Ceremony and Dinner will
be Aug. 16, 2010 at Carmestro's Restaurant in
Hilton at 6:PM.

Next Family Mass and Breakfast will be Sunday,
Sept. 12, 2010  

There will be a 3rd Degree Exemplification on Sat.
Sept. 25, 2010 in Corning, NY.

There will be a 4th Degree Exemplification on Sat.
Oct. 16, 2010 in Auburn, NY.
