All requests are subject to the approval of the Pastor/Business Manager and must be made in writing using our Facility Request Form. For groups/organizations requesting space the proper insurance and hold harmless agreements must be submitted as well. You can come into the Office and book a Mass or call the Parish Secretary at 585-227-6824 to make arrangements. Masses are booked well in advance and weekend Masses are usually booked as far out as 5-6 months ahead.
Deacon Frank Pettrone takes care of our Baptisms at St. Mark's. You will need to contact him through the office to get the necessary forms and information on scheduling your baby's Baptism.
The first step towards planning your special day is to contact Fr. Lou. No information on weddings is given in advance until you and your fiance have met with Fr. Lou. We do not give out dates over the phone, nor do we make any plans for weddings with anyone other than the Bride & Groom. You will also need to complete a Pre-Cana program prior to your Wedding. St. Mark's holds in Pre-Cana program every year in February. If you are not a member of St. Mark's Parish, you will need your Pastor/Administrator's Permission to get married outside of your Parish as well. To begin the process please contact Fr. Lou at 585-227-6824.
St. Mark's Church offers two Religious Education programs, one a Two Week Summer Intensive Program and the other which meets September through April on Mondays at 4:30 pm. If you are not a member of St. Mark's you may attend our program with your parishes permission. Please contact Mary Chatterton for more information at 585-227-6824.
St. Mark's is happy to have your child celebrate the Sacraments with us. 1st Holy Communion and Penance are handled by Fr. Lou in tandem with a Religious Education Program. 1st Holy Communion is celebrated in May of every year and 1st Penance is done in the late Fall. Confirmation takes place every year in late October/early November at the Cathedral. There is a 3 day intensive program that is required for your child to be confirmed. That program is offered every year in late June once school has let out for the summer. Please contact Deacon Jim Chatterton for more information on Confirmation at 585-227-6824.
Throughout the course of the year there are numerous chances to volunteer at St. Mark's and through many of our ministries. From working Coffee Hours, to helping with Summer Religious Education, to taking the time to work at St. Joseph's House on a Saturday- there is always something to do! Contact our Youth Minister, Sue Condoluci at 585-227-6824 for more information!
