What is Rosary Society???

The Rosary Society seeks to enrich souls with a deeper relationship with God
through the Blessed Virgin Mary, who is the spouse of the Holy Spirit, the
handmaid of the Lord, and Mother of God.   Our faith is enlivened and
enriched through communal prayer and meditation on the mysteries of the life,
death and resurrection of Jesus and Mary through recitation of the rosary.
Finally, we strive to promote devotion to Our Lady and to her powerful
weapon, the rosary

What does the Rosary Society do???

Our main focus is to recite the rosary and deepen our relationship with God
and the Church.

Each month the Rosary Society offers up the Rosary prayer for specific
intentions along with praying for the Vocations and our Priests.  Following the
recitation of the Rosary in the daily chapel, a short meeting is held in the
Family Room, followed by coffee and dessert.  The Rosary society also
sponsors special events that honor our “Blessed Mother” such as the Living
Rosary, providing Rosaries to 1st Communicants,  and the “May Crowning” of
our Blesses Mother Mary.

PRAYERS

Pope John Paul II's Prayer Intention

"That for the Church, God will not fail to provide Pastors who are rich in wisdom and holiness
and ready to defend the light of the Gospel to the very ends of the earth." (October 2003)

Most gracious Heavenly Father,

We thank you for our for our faithful priests and bishops, whose spiritual fatherhood and
example of fidelity, self-sacrifice, and devotion is so vital to the faith of your people.
May our spiritual fathers be guided by the examples of Saints Peter and Paul, all the Apostles
and their saintly successors. Give them valiant faith in the face of confusion and conflict, hope in
time of trouble and sorrow, and steadfast love for you, for their families, and for all your people
throughout the world. May the light of your Truth shine through their lives and their good works.
Assist all spiritual fathers, that through your Grace they may steadily grow in holiness and in
knowledge and understanding of your Truth. May they generously impart this knowledge to
those who rely on them.
Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer for Vocations

Compassionate Heart of Jesus,
graciously listen to our prayers.
Give us generous hearts
to respond to your call in our lives.
Lift up courageous men and women
willing to follow after your heart
as priests, sisters, brothers, and deacons.
Help parents and teachers to share the
faith and to encourage young people
to explore religious vocations.
Guide all people, Lord, in your ways
of compassion, truth, and peace,
that we may find happiness
in fulfilling our vocation.   Amen
