We take our motto from two important Gospel passages: The Parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37) and The Judgment of the Nations (Matthew 25:31-46).
We will meet monthly and our focus will be on three specific areas:
We will come together in Christ to pray for one another, for our parish family, for the wider Church, and for the needs of the world (with an emphasis on those who are most marginalized and most in need).
We will reflect on readings from the sources of our Catholic Faith (ex. Sacred Scripture, The Catechism of the Catholic Church, The Compendium of the social Doctrine of the Church, etc.) and discuss how we can rightly apply them to our lives today.
We will seek to implement practical resolutions to help those in our Diocese who are most marginalized and most in need, with an eye to what we as a parish family can do to serve most effectively.
Meetings will take place on the first Monday of every month from 7:00-8:30 PM in the Parish library. All are welcome!
